What does a care assistant role look like at Unique Home Care NI?

​Depending on the client, a typical visit might include:​

- Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and supporting healthy eating habits
- Assisting with mobility and daily routines
- Administering or prompting medication as directed in the care plan
- Providing companionship — talking, listening, and engaging meaningfully
- Carrying out light household tasks such as tidying or laundry
- Keeping accurate visit records to support continuity of care
